Hillbrow police nab two suspects with unlicensed firearms

HILLBROW - THE HILLBROW police arrested two suspects on 27 January in Berea on the corner of Joe Slovo and High streets.

Police were on a routine patrol when they noticed two men acting suspiciously. When they approached the two suspects, they tried to flee but police were able to apprehend them. They were found to be in possession of a stolen fireman which had been stolen from a property during a house robbery.

Sergeant Nduduzi Zondo said, “It is believed that the two suspects rob motorists at gunpoint during peak hour traffic. I am glad to have rid the streets of these two criminals.”
