All Africa Games trends on Twitter
JOBURG - It's Monday morning and Joburg is talking about what's going on at the All Africa Games.
This year the All Africa Games run from 1 to 18 September in Brazzaville in the Republic Congo.
The games have been hot on the lips of South Africans with a number of their local athletes winning gold and silver medals before the kick-off of the seventh day of the competition.
South Africa’s leading lights seem to be the swimmers, with Cameron van der Burgh and Myles Brown taking the gold in the 100 metre breast stroke and the 200 metre freestyle, respectively.
Doing it for the ladies is Karen Prinsloo who took the silver medal in the 100 metre freestyle.
