Two injured in CBD blaze

According to reports it is believed two people have been injured in a fire at an abandoned building in the Joburg CBD.

Reports state that 40 people were evacuated from the building.

The report further stated that EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said investigations are underway into the cause of the CBD blaze.

“Two people were treated on scene, they refused to be transported to hospital. The cause of the fire at this stage is still unknown. Our fire investigation team will be investigating the cause of the fire.”
