Over 200 walkers and runners spend their autumn morning at Atholl parkrun at Winston Ridge Park

Atoll parkrun is organised by volunteers and takes place every Saturday morning at Winston Ridge at 08:00.

Over 200 Atholl parkrun walkers and runners began their morning at Winston Ridge to improve their personal records and enjoy the last days of autumn on May 30.

Participants had their eyes on their watches to check their times and beat their previous achievements, while others wanted to walk for fun.

Shaquile Ramitor, a regular and fast runner, explained that he joined parkrun a year ago to improve his running.

“I enjoy Atholl Parkrun because I get to exercise and beat my personal records, while my coach guides me on areas I can improve on.”

The event, run over 5km, is organised by 17 volunteers and takes place every Saturday morning at 08:00.

Atholl parkrun looks forward to a year of good health, safe events, and many milestones to be achieved.
