A shareholder of a garage situated in Norwood, was arrested after police officers allegedly found drugs worth R10 000 in an office on 22 November.
Spokesperson for Norwood Police Station, Elliot Tshivhase said the man was arrested after organised crime police officers, through a tip-off, conducted a search of his office. “Drugs were [allegedly] recovered under the table and 10 live [rounds of] ammunition,” said Tshivhase.
He added that the 52-year-old was detained at Norwood Police Station and then taken to Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court for prosecution and received R15 000 bail.
