False alarm at The Zone

Rumours of an evacuation of Rosebank Mall flooded social media on 27 February, however, Rosebank Mall soon responded via its Twitter page that these rumours were false.

The actual evacuation happened at Viva Gym in The Zone in Rosebank.

A gym member allegedly called 702 Radio Station to report the incident, which turned out to be a false alarm, according to the management team at Viva Gym.

False alarm; @RosebankMall is not evacuating. Business as usual.
