Assaulted man found in the Jukskei in River Park

SANDRINGHAM – The Sandringham police have found an injured man in the Jukskei River, in River Park on 3 March.

A rumour that a dead man was found in the Juskei River in Lombardy West has been quashed by the Sandringham police, who have confirmed that the man is alive and being treated for his injuries.

Spokesperson for Sandringham police, Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo, said that the man was actually found in River Park in the Jukskei on the morning of 3 March.

Mamabolo said that police and other emergency services took him to the nearest hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries.

Mamabolo concluded, “A case of assault has been opened and the police will investigate the story further.”
