All about Teen Tulk Africa’s achievements

The foundation helps teenagers and youths with various skills and development

The Teen Tulk Africa Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Highlands North, has been nominated for the Global Leadership Award, which will be held on 19 and 20 May at Constitution Hill in Braamfontein.

Dignitaries from Africa will be attending the event as part of Africa Month celebrations according to the founder of the organisation, Peter Okafor who said they have been nominated under the Corporate Achievers category due to their focus on teenagers and the lives of young adults.

He said their organisation believes in creativity and innovative actions, thereby leaving a legacy as an end goal to develop healthier teenagers in society across many African countries.

“Our focus is to nurture and groom the teens and youths of Africa through academic and skills development programmes, designing our tomorrow’s future today and paving the way for future generations. The foundation is able to achieve these through our free monthly seminars and workshops under the auspices of Madiba Media and Productions,” said Okafor.

South Africa has given the foundation a platform to be part of society and in return, Okafor said it is their social responsibility to utilise all resources and avenues within, to give back to their communities. He said they have donated sanitary towels, food parcels and toiletries to various disadvantaged schools and communities in Gauteng.

“The Teen Tulk Africa Foundation is proudly doing so because it is a calling and there’s more blessings in giving as we derive joy in sharing by helping our local communities and the less-privileged,” he said.

The global leadership and nation-building series is a vision that is aligned with the foundation as it sees more academic and economic growth and values they believe will create African unity.

Okafor said they will partner with local and international companies as well as other foundations to help actualise their dream and vision towards the life-changing methods.
