Man arrested for possession of dagga in Parktown North

PARKTOWN NORTH – Parkview police have arrested a man for possession of dagga.

 

A Parkview police officer arrested a man for possession of dagga while he was conducting crime prevention duties in Parktown North.

Constable Mantata Hlase of Parkview Police Station arrested the man on the corner of Jan Smuts and 7th Avenue on 11 May.

Hlase stopped the man and requested to search him. “The man was searched and dagga was found in his possession. He was arrested immediately for possession of dagga,” explained Captain Tintswalo Sibeko spokesperson for Parkview Police Station.

The suspect will appear in Hillbrow Magistrate Court soon to answer on charges of possession of dagga.
