Retirement village in Lyndhurst enjoys clean chapel thanks to volunteers and caring community members

LYNDHURST – Read how the community helps others out.

 

Residents from Tarentaal Retirement Village in Lyndhurst rolled up their sleeves to clean up the village’s chapel after its thatch roof was repaired.

Spokesperson for the village, Cathy Grosvenor said, “Within a short space of time, the chapel committee had put out a call to residents for help and soon volunteers arrived with buckets, brooms and rags.”

Complex manager, Tammy Neilson said, “It was truly remarkable how they worked.”
