DA committee at work
YEOVILLE – Members of the public can approach the committee with any concerns about service delivery.
The Democratic Alliance in Yeoville has elected new branch committee members to fast-track service delivery concerns in the area.
The elections were held on 26 July at the Yeoville Recreation Centre in Ward 67.
The committee is expected to increase the DA’s membership, raise awareness of their activities, campaign for the party in elections and to raise concerns about service delivery in the area.
“Members are supposed to bring to the attention of the councillor problems with service delivery in Yeoville,” said public relations councillor of the ward, Joshua Apfel.
“The councillor must keep the committee and the members up to date with happenings in council as well and deal with service delivery issues.”
Members of the public can approach the committee with any concerns about service delivery and these will be discussed further with the ward councillor.
