A 21-year-old was granted bail in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 22 August.
The man is accused of allegedly assaulting a domestic worker at his Bramley home. The accused subsequently had to find an alternative place to live as he could not stay in the same house as the complainant. A friend of the accused’s father came to his rescue as he told the court that he will accommodate the accused at his home as the case proceeds. The case was remanded to 3 October for further investigations.
