Fancy felines in Sandringham
SANDRINGHAM – The Independent All Breeds Championship Cat Show will be held at the Jabula Recreation Centre on 24 September.
A plethora of cute and talented felines will take over the Jabula Recreation Centre in Sandringham for the Independent All Breeds Championship Cat Show on 24 September.
Hosted by the World Cat Federation, the local community is invited to attend and socialise with the breeders and exhibitors at the show.
The spokesperson for the event Charmaine Danziger said, “We have approximately 120 all breeds cats entered in this show made up of many of the different breeds including Persians, Exotic, Norwegian Forest, Birmans, Ragdolls, Siamese, Sphynx, Bengal and many others.”
There will be 15 judges present on the day, each allocated to a number of different breeds of cats, which they will then judge based on the standard of points for each of the breeds. Danziger added that every judge will choose their top three cats in their ring as Judges Best with prizes sponsored by Royal Canin.
The show will be open to the public from 9am until 4pm. Entrance is R10 per adult, R5 for pensioners and children under 12 may enter for free.
