Vox team encourages their own staff to be regular donors

WAVERLEY – South African National Blood Service is very aware of the need to increase stock.

The Vox team came out in full force once again on 11 October to support the South African National Blood Service [https://sanbs.org.za/] at their regular blood drive held every eight weeks at the Vox Campus in Waverley.

Marketing manager, Diana Martins Prenner said, “As the festive season approaches and more people are on the roads, we are notably aware of the need to stock up on blood more than ever. The need for blood doesn’t take a break over the holidays, so it’s important to donate, donate, donate. It costs nothing and could save a life.”

She added that many staff members are regular donors and are encouraged to participate. “This unselfish act [is] the most precious gift that anyone can give to someone else.”
