Al Firnas Patel, the founder of Crescent Lifestyle said, “With this payout today, since its inception Crescent Lifestyle has paid out in the last nine years a little over R4 million.” Patel emphasised that businesses and communities who work together will be able to help far more people. “Individually we can do good things but together we can do great things.”

Munirah Saley, the principal of the Al-Munirah Centre said the centre relies on donations and sponsorships in order to keep running. “These contributions help us run our centre and keep it open.
“Any little contribution, no matter how insignificant it may seem, R10 here or R5 there means that we can run our centre for one more month or one more year.”
