Don Dada’s new song praises former president
JOBURG – Don Dada's song, Viva Mandela, resonates with The Year of Nelson Mandela.
Before the African National Congress (ANC) announced 2018 as the year of Nelson Mandela, hip-hop mega star Don Dada released a song titled Viva Mandela to pay tribute to the former president.

Don Dada said, “This song is relevant as this would be the year Madiba would have turned 100 years and in it I praise Madiba as a chief and freedom fighter of a broken system.”
The mega star also raps about some of Madiba’s legacies such as fighting for a rainbow nation and education for all.
Shortly after former president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe’s resignation, Don Dada penned a bonus track for his nine-track EP, House of Stone.

The song, titled Zimbabwe Kubatana, was played on major radio stations in Zimbabwe.
It was also recognised as one of four songs released to mark Mugabe’s resignation.
