Run for Hope in aid of Choc this Sunday

Young and old are invited to Run for Hope this Sunday at the Hope School Sports Grounds in Pallinghurst Road, Westcliff in aid of CHOC.

This is the third event hosted by the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox.

All proceeds from the Run for Hope will go to CHOC, which provides comprehensive, countrywide support for children with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders.

The organisation also assists families by offering psychosocial services and practical support including counselling, free accommodation close to treatment centres, free transport, food parcels and parent support groups.

The 5km run will begin at 7.15am and the 7.8km race will commence at 7am from Hope School.
