DJ Yanga speaks on his next moves after departing Shiz Live
JOBURG – Former Shiz Live DJ founds record label and releases a new single.
DJ Yanga has meticulously earned his stripes in the game. From earning residence on Shiz Live, being Maraza’s personal DJ to being one of the youth’s most favoered DJ. He also previously released a smash debut single titled, Hop out the coupe, featuring two hip-hop favourites, Reason and Maraza, which earned him quite the buzz.
DJ Yanga has effectively joined the independence wave after departing Shiz Live and founding a new record label, Khaya Productions, with co-partner T-Jay. The young DJ serves as the first signed artist under the label.
“Khaya Productions is both a production and record label company we founded last year December. This is something that is mine and I am in control of including my creativity as well,” he said.
The newsflash comes with #DanciaDancia, his first release under the label. On this kwaito and dancehall-fused new single, DJ Yanga features Maraza and MJ Washington for a new summer jam.
