What to do this weekend

JOBURG – Top five things to do in Joburg this weekend.

We’ve been unfortunate enough to experience continuous rainy and gloomy weather throughout the week. While some of our plans were derailed and we inevitably had a slippery slope of a week, it’s time for us to relax at these hot exciting events in the Joburg.

Check out our top five things to do this weekend:

15 February: Valentine’s Roof Top Romance

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Valentine’s Roof Top Romance on 15 February in Maboneng as dinner is served for you and your partner while you sip on champagne and a nice white wine with soulful R&B music playing in the background. Amazing live DJ sets are scheduled to accompany the love in the air. Be sure to capture your moments at the photo booth. Tickets are available at R650 per couple.

16 February: Jozi Coffee Cycle Tour

Jozi Coffee Cycle Tour gives you the opportunity to cycle Jozi for coffee. Taking place on 16 February the tour starts in Maboneng at Origin Coffee and makes its way through at least four coffee shops up to Newtown. This is an opportunity to check out and appreciate the City’s architecture and its people along the way. Book your place for R450 on info@microadventuretours.co.za. Hopefully the weather clears up.

16 February: Food and Beer Pairing

Experience a five-course meal carefully crafted to pair with a variety of SAB brands. Each beer pairing experience focuses on finding the harmony between beer, a grain-based beverage, and food through pairing with simple or both rich and complex flavours. For bookings and further information contact 011 836 4900 or events.co-ordinator@za.ab-inbev.com
