Donate blood this weekend in Parkwood and help save lives

PARKWOOD – Donate blood conveniently in your suburb on 9 March.

The Saxonwold and Parkwood Residents Association (Sapra) invites the public to join their first blood drive for the year on 9 March.

Community members who are healthy and between the ages of 16 and 70 are encouraged to donate blood at the Northern Suburbs Tennis Club in Blandford Road, Parkwood, between 10am and 2pm.

Sapra committee member Tracy Davies said, “There is always a need for additional blood drives. The idea behind this one is that it is on a weekend and is located in a suburb and should be convenient for residents to just pop down at a time that suits them.”

Each unit of blood donated helps to save three lives.
