Do you have the registration number for this helicopter?

CRAIGHALL PARK – Assist ward councillor Martin Williams in assessing the legality of this action.

The appearance of a helicopter delivering structural steel to the roof of flats in Craighall Park on 10 March has been the source of much questioning from residents.

Ward 90 councillor Martin Williams said he was asked by residents about whether this action was legal. Williams sought to assess whether this was a matter of by-laws, civil aviation or national building regulation.

The steel was transported to flats at the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and Westminster Road in Craighall Park.

Williams said that both the Civil Aviation Authority and Metro police are requesting the helicopter’s registration number before they can investigate the matter.

If any residents know the registration number, they are urged to email Williams on martcw7@gmail.com
