Joburg City launches Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre
JOHANNESBURG – Joburg City launches Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre.
The City of Johannesburg officially launched the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre on 14 March.
The centre is situated at 1 Duncombe Road.
The City said the centre was a place of learning where it teaches people about the consequences of prejudice, racism, homophobia, xenophobia and the dangers of apathy and silence.

The City added that the exhibitions at the entre followed the history of genocide from the early destruction of the Herero and Nama people in Namibia in 1904, to the Holocaust and genocide that occurred in Rwanda
