Being a gin fan for years, J’Something said he wanted to create a high-quality gin that had something new and interesting to offer the market. The gin range comes in three variants, including rooibos, orange and honey; tomato and sweet piquante peppers and honey and olives – and was inspired by the muso’s Portuguese and South African heritage.

Besides music, the Mi Casa frontman is famous for taking on the culinary word with cooking shows such as What’s for Dinner and Something’s Cooking as well as a restaurant, Something’s Cooking by J.

As a gin drinker, he said he enjoys Jin Gin on the rocks but also suggested that people try the rooibos, orange and honey flavour with pink tonic, a slice of orange and fresh raspberries.
