Dance music star power takes on Dance Music Summit

JOBURG – Dance Music Summit provides four days of skill development, informative panels and musical inspiration.

Taking on Constitution Hill from 24 – 27 March, the inaugural Dance Music Summit offers young South African musicians an upper-hand in the dance music business.

The summit is open to all industry professionals, producers, artists, promoters, record labels, DJs and music enthusiasts and focuses on developing up-and-coming musician’s skills in producing, performance, and music business acumen.

The summit will also feature a variety of seminars, panels, workshops, parties, DJ spin-offs, and networking events for those looking to learn more about the dance music industry – it will allow attendees to explore the future of music, media, technology, and culture, with a mission of bringing people together to educate. It’s also designed to equip musicians with information on diverse topics and insights into the ever-evolving industry while nurturing creative and professional growth.

In addition to four days of skill development, informative panels and musical inspiration, there will be an event every evening, from Tuesday to Friday, featuring an array of world-class DJs and artists including Kuniyuki Takahashi (Japan), Vinny da Vinci, Lady Lea and many more.
