On 15 August at about 3pm, Norwood police arrested two men for a house robbery in Sydenham.
Spokesperson Sergeant Eric Masotsha said a third suspect managed to jump out from a getaway car which was used during the house robbery. “Both suspects were found in possession of robbed items from the house and the victim managed to identify his belongings,” Masotsha added.
He applauded members of a private security company as well as members of the public who reacted swiftly and informed the police who responded quickly to the situation. “Both suspects will appear before the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court soon for the charges of house robbery, possession of unlicensed firearms and possession of live ammunition.”
