Hyde Park collision leaves two injured

HYDE PARK – Reports indicate a bakkie and car were involved in a collision.

Netcare 911 paramedics attended to a collision that took place on the corner of Abercorn and Jan Smuts avenues in Hyde Park at 4.15pm yesterday, 8 December.

A spokesperson for Netcare 911 Shawn Herbst said, “Reports indicate a bakkie and car were involved in a collision. The paramedics assessed two adult males who had sustained moderate injuries.”

Herbst added that once stabilised both patients were transported by private ambulance to the hospital for further care.

All necessary authorities were present at the scene.
