KFC’s first-ever pop-up store, Kentucky Town launched in Rosebank

ROSEBANK – As part of their celebration, KFC is bringing fans a special birthday menu that is only available at the pop-up store, including meals that fans have never seen before from KFC.

KFC South Africa has opened its first mega pop-up store, Kentucky Town, which will be open for 11 days from November 25 until December 5 at The Zone in Rosebank.

It will also sell its ‘Zinger Sauce’ and ‘Dunked Sauce’ along with treats like crispy chicken skins and the doughnut zinger burger.

To celebrate the milestone, KFC is welcoming its loyal customers to the pop-up to enjoy the limited-edition birthday menu, never-before-never-again KFC experiences, limited-edition gear, and much more.

The proceeds from the pop-up store gear will be donated to the KFC Add Hope initiative to help provide nutritious meals to underprivileged children in South Africa.

The limited-edition menu also includes some surprises up the brand’s sleeves for loyal fans, including a return of some of the most popular meals from the past, including the KFC Streetwise Chow and Spicy Chips.

In addition to a limited-edition birthday collection of KFC classics, KFC is also launching a collection of collaborations with some of its favourite design partners, including David Tshabalala, Thesis Lifestyle, and Yay Abe.

Mzwanele Fani, Morena Moletsane, and the CancelWear duo Karabo Phakathi and Senzo Nkabinde took top honours in the KFC Streetwise Culture Crew design challenge and will design a collaboration collection along with the designers.
