Man left seriously injured after motorbike and light motor vehicle collision in Killarney
KILLARNEY – The driver of the light motor vehicle was not injured.
A collision between a light motor vehicle and a motorbike on Riviera Road in Killarney left a man in his 30s with serious injuries.
According to a statement by Arrive Alive, ER24 and Vision Tactical arrived at the scene at 18:30 on January 6 and found a light motor vehicle and a motorbike in the intersection.
The biker was found lying on the side of the road. “Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in serious condition. The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before being transported to a [nearby hospital] for further care,” read the statement.

Arrive Alive added that, fortunately, the driver of the light motor vehicle escaped injury.
Local authorities were present at the scene for further investigations.
