Parktown spirit is revived at inter-house swimming gala

Learners at Parktown High School for Girls participated in an Inter-House Swimming Gala recently where Nereids House won.

Director of sport at the school Catherine McCreesh said, “The Inter-House Swimming Gala is always a festive event and a great way for the school to kick off their spirit for the year.

“Well done to all the swimmers who swam very hard and to the girls who sang war cries with spunk and every ounce of energy that they had.”

Neireids House won with 192 points followed by Oreads in second with 176 points and Pleiades in third with 172 points.

Alseids House won the award for the best spirit on the day.
