TAKE NOTE: Power interruption currently in progress in Hursthill
HURSTHILL – City Power apologises for the inconvenience caused by the power outage.
City Power would like to inform residents of a critical power interruption currently occurring in Hursthill and the surrounding areas.
According to the City Power, the power outage is due to the substation which was isolated remotely on suspicion of a fire that broke out earlier this afternoon, March 17.
The following areas are affected:
Parkhurst substation:
• Parkhurst
• Parktown North
• Craighall Park
• Linden
• Emmarentia
• Parkwood
• Forest Town
“Technicians are en-route to site to investigate, EMS has also been notified. Estimated time restoration will be communicated after preliminary investigations have been completed,” read the statement.
