Will the arrest of the two key State Capture suspects lead to more arrests?

Ajay and Rajesh Gupta's arrest leave South Africans with mixed reactions about what precedence it might set for the judiciary system.

United Arab Emirates authorities have confirmed that State Capture suspects Rajesh and Atul Gupta, who had fled South Africa in 2016, have been arrested .

The Rosebank Killarney Gazette team asked residents what they thought the implication of the brothers’ arrest is. This is what they had to say..

EMMA BUCHEL: I don’t think we will ever get the stolen money back. An arrest made means the state has acknowledged their crime and the arrest means corruption can be addressed with a stronger fist in this country than it has been.

THULAGANYA MALIBALWA: As a South Africa,n I started losing faith in our government. Now with the two key suspects in the state capture [arrested], we can only hope people who commit crime will be held accountable.
TEBOGO LETSHEGO: As long as those who enabled the Gupta brothers, and brought them into the country are still roaming the streets; the arrest of the Gupta brothers means absolutely nothing. We want to see the arrests of politicians and those highly connected who helped the Gupta brothers.
