“This project could not have come at a more fitting time. September 23 is the day before Heritage Day and gives students the opportunity to celebrate their South African Heritage. It is also just before the Jewish New Year which we celebrate on September 26 and 27. The Jewish New Year is a time of reflection, where Jews focus on repentance, prayer and charity.”
