Parktown High School For Girls placed 7th in the inter-high diving competition
St Mary's School walked away as winners at Parktown High School For Girls' inter-diving competition.

Encouragement, cheering, and clapping filled the Parktown High School For Girls’ swimming stands on March 5, during the inter-high diving competition.

Schools that took part in the inter-high diving competition included St Mary’s High School, Waverly, Roedean School, Kingsmead College, and St Stithians Girls’ College.

Parktown High School for Girls acting headmistress Gail Davidson said Parktown High School for Girls was honoured to host the inter-high diving competition.
“We had nine schools joining us for the competition. Special thanks must go to our sports department and maintenance staff who worked tirelessly leading up to the day, to ensure the pool and school grounds were in tip-top shape. Congratulations to all the divers who competed, especially St Mary’s, who took first place.”

Davidson added that the diving overall was of high calibre and looked forward to attending the prestigious competition in 2025.
The results are as follows:
- 1st place: St Mary’s School, Waverly
- 2nd place: St Andrew’s High School for Girls
- 3rd place: St Stithians Girls’ College
- 4th place: Brescia House
- 5th place: Roedean School
- 6th place: Kingsmead College
- 7th place: Parktown High School for Girls
- 8th place: St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls.
