With 24 schools from across the country vying for glory, the competition was fierce, the energy electric, and the skill level nothing short of world-class. Over four intense days, teams fought tooth and nail in the water, delivering precision shots, rock-solid defensive plays, and unforgettable moments.

The final was a spectacle of speed, strategy, and endurance, with Rondebosch Boys’ High asserting their dominance to claim the coveted cup title. Their 10–6 victory over a formidable South African College Schools (SACS) side was a masterclass in teamwork and execution, sealing their place at the top.

Meanwhile, Paul Roos Gymnasium ensured they didn’t leave empty-handed, delivering a commanding 7–0 win over Kearsney College to secure the plate title. St John’s College also left their mark, clinching bronze after an impressive tournament run. They stormed through the group stages with three wins from five matches but fell just short in a nail-biting 7–9 semi-final loss to Rondebosch.

It wasn’t just the teams making waves; there were several individual performances that stood out. Amaza Faber, of St John’s College, proved to be a defensive rock, earning the title of Best Defender, while Josh Damstra, from SACS, put on a goalkeeping clinic to be named Goalie of the Tournament. Adam Maggott, also from SACS, was a constant attacking threat, rightfully claiming the title of Attacker of the Tournament.

As the final whistle blew and the celebrations erupted, the tournament once again proved why it is the crown jewel of U15 water polo in South Africa. With passion, precision, and power on full display, the future of the sport in SA is looking brighter than ever.
