Boccia Bandits Sports Club athletes practice every Saturday

Boccia Bandits Sports Club athletes honed their throwing techniques and skills at Hollard’s headquarters on May 17 for the Cairo 2025 World Boccia Africa Regional Championships will take place in Cairo, Egypt, from August 2–8.

Athletes who were selected from Boccia Bandits Sports Club are: Samuel Tshilunga, Lefi Kgosimolao, Liakath Aziz, Ofentse Chabe and Siphiwo Papu.

Boccia Bandits Sports Club is appealing to the public to help them raise funds for the trip which requires 50% of R54 000 for each person.

The sport club was formed in 2013 due to top players not having a club to belong to after they left school, and have been going from strength to strength since.
