High School for Girls’ headmistress looks forward to seeing the school's values come to life across the community in 2026 and beyond.

Davidson hopes that the staff will be recognised and appreciated by the school community for their knowledge, dedication, and compassion. “I pray that while Parktown continues to be a safe and supportive environment for all our learners, our girls will also feel secure in their homes and in society. May our school be a place where words are chosen with care: Words that build, encourage, and inspire positivity.”

The headmistress noted that she envisions a school where families, who genuinely cannot afford school fees, are still able to send their daughters without fear or worry, supported by the generosity of corporate partners and others committed to advancing girls’ education in the country.

Davidson added that she looks forward to seeing the school values: Respect, kindness, integrity, inclusivity, and accountability, lived out across the community.

“May each learner work diligently to become a confident, creative, collaborative, and curious individual, who brings meaningful change to our country and the world. I pray that Parktown will continue to provide a world-class, holistic education that empowers our young women to think critically, act wisely, and use technology responsibly to solve real-world problems and improve the lives of those around them.”
