Cap Security and SAPS nab suspect for Craighall Park murder

After nine months of intensive investigative work, a breakthrough was made in the Craighall Park murder, with a suspect being arrested and appearing in court.

A community member was tragically shot and killed in Craighall Park on December 4, 2024.

Following the incident, CAP Security teams began a thorough investigation, in close collaboration with SAPS.

Now, CAP Security and SAPS’ Serious and Violent Crime Murder and Robbery Unit’s intensive investigations have finally led to a breakthrough after nine months, with the arrest of a suspect on September 27.

The suspect appeared in court on September 30, and remains in custody. CAP Security says it will continue to monitor developments as the matter proceeds through the judicial process.

The investigation remains ongoing.
