At only 16, William has already claimed multiple podium finishes, including a string of four consecutive wins, and continues to impress fans and rivals alike. “Every time you get an award, it’s not about saying you’ve made it,” he said. “It’s about taking another step closer to being the best, while staying humble.”

This year, William faced challenges at the Nationals, where crashes threatened to derail his progress. Yet his determination saw him climb from eighth to fourth, later securing third place. Weeks later, he celebrated his first victory at Tarbot, a moment he describes as ‘special for me, the team, and my dad’.

Motorsport runs deep in the Budler family. His father, a seasoned racer, is his mentor and biggest supporter. “He’s everything to me,” said William. “He eats, breathes, and sleeps racing.”

To stay competitive, William follows a strict fitness routine, often waking at 4:00 for training and car preparation. When the pressure mounts, he finds focus in listening to Elvis Presley.

With big dreams of one day driving in Formula One, ideally for Mercedes, William’s journey is only beginning. His story is one of passion, resilience, and pure racing spirit.
