Community Active Protection disrupts criminal crew, resulting in swift arrests
The gang targeted multiple areas, including: Bramley, Parkhurst, Parkwood, and Savoy and were picked up thanks to a joint operation between CAP and SAPS Flying Squad.
Community Active Protection’s (CAP) team has targeted and disrupted a criminal crew responsible for over 50 business robberies across Gauteng.
This prolific gang targeted businesses in multiple areas, including Bramley, Parkhurst, Parkwood, Savoy, Waverley, Saxonwold, Orchards, Oaklands, Orange Grove, Sydenham, Highlands North, Emmarentia, Greenside, Sandringham, and Glenhazel.
The team identified, analysed, and tracked the gang.

According to CAP, the team has been working with SAPS Flying Squad, and in an early morning operation on January 18, two suspects were arrested in Parkhurst and Observatory.
Vehicles and suspected stolen property were recovered.
Investigations are ongoing to identify any remaining individuals connected to the crew.
