Pirates Bowls Club encourages locals to start their Sundays with social bowls

Open to new and old members, and even those just curious, Pirates Club social bowls take place every Sunday from 09:30 to 12:30, and the club also features a great café for breakfast and coffee.

Partly cloudy skies did not deter locals from coming out in numbers to aim for the jack on April 19 at the Pirates Bowls Club.

Chairperson Paul Elliot welcomed new members while encouraging community members to join the sport. A group of friends who tried the sport for the first time said they were intrigued by it, wanting to try it out at Pirates.

Pirates Club social bowls take place every Sunday from 09:30 to 12:30 and is open to all ages.

There is also a first-class café on site, providing hot beverages and healthy breakfasts, plus an outdoor play facility for children.
