St Teresa’s Senior Primary School learners swim for their houses
The interhouse swimming gala at St Teresa's Senior primary School was full of splashing water, screaming fans, and learners doing their best for their houses.
Perfect weather conditions set the stage for an evening of outstanding performances and vibrant house spirit as St Teresa’s Senior Primary School hosted their interhouse swimming gala.
On February 25, Grades 4–7 Rosies brought enthusiasm, determination, and energy to every race, while parents and supporters created an electric atmosphere from the sidelines. The gala was a true celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and community.
A highlight of the evening was an exceptional achievement by Alessandra De Dominicis, who broke the Grade 4 breaststroke record, as well as the much-anticipated Grade 7 versus parents race, which proved to be a crowd favourite, encouraging enthusiastic cheering and underscoring the strong sense of connection within the school community.
After a fiercely contested competition, Lourdes claimed the house cup, finishing just one point ahead of Marian in an incredibly close result.
