Gratitude expressed for new kit

BELLEVUE PARK – The community member garnered support and managed to sponsor a kit for the football team.

The Thol’thuba Athletics non-profit organisation (NPO) football team was extremely grateful as they received a kit from a sponsor. Founder and director of the organisation, Tholi Zuzani shared that the sponsor had contacted them after reading the article titled, A chance for Growth in the Gazette [ Week ending 19 March].

The article expounded on the organisation’s efforts and visions.

Zuzani added that Pioneer Foods and Elite Star Trading Africa from Germiston sponsored the 28 kits comprising of T-shirts, shorts and socks and in addition a set of 40 bibs and two big bags to carry the kits.

“We gratefully receive the kit with open arms because we really never had anything so that’s a lot and the children were really happy when the kit arrived. The numbers have also grown, we have 36 players and have divided them into two groups who play weekly. We have also attained volunteers to assist the children with their homework and counselling on certain days.”
