Wanderers Club hosts Joburg Masters Squash Open Doubles Tournament

Brotherhood shone during the Joburg Masters Squash Open Doubles Tournament at the Wanderers Club.

Brotherhood and competitiveness dominated the Wanderers Club’s squash courts on May 16, during the Joburg Masters Squash Open Doubles Tournament.

Chairperson of the Joburg Masters Dino Petrarolo said the tournament is open to all doubles players. It’s on the squash calendar as an event used to rank interprovincial players.

“The atmosphere is great. It’s a small crowd, with players ranging from social players, right through to intermediate and provincial level players. Doubles are always fun, because the tournament involves four players on the court.”

Although having four players on the court makes conditions quite tight, a lot of banter and fun resulted in a good day for the players.
