Our favourite Asian eatery is turning up the heat … again!
News on the streets … our favourite Asian-fusion eatery has opened its doors to an additional two eateries. Yes, please!

What originally started off as a hole-in-the-wall type of eatery in Greenside, Momo Baohaus, has now developed into a chain of the best eateries in Jozi (in our foodie opinions). Each eatery has a slightly varied menu, focusing on a different speciality … Momo & O in Norwood focuses on ramen noodles (the best thing about town.
In fact, it’s so good it’s become a weekly staple for us), whereas Momo Soko in Illovo focuses on skewers (think grilled lamb skewers with green basil mint drizzle, toasted sesame and spring onion or grilled chicken skewers with Teriyaki Tare, fried onion, Tagarashi, sesame and spring onions).Over and above the specialities, there’s a host of amazing bao’s, bowls, sushi and tapas options to choose from … each one more delicious than the next.
The two latest additions to the chain of eateries is Momo Kuro in Rosebank (visualize magnificent views over the city, modern décor, delicious food and an intimate setting in the Keyes Art Mile precinct … the perfect spot to kick-off First Thursday’s) and Momo Nikko in Bryanston (a welcomed addition to this neighbourhood’s foodie options and bustling nightlife).
Not only is the food great, the prices are very well-suited to almost any budget, it’s always vibey and (bonus) you can bring along your own alcohol at no additional cost! Cheers to that!
