A case of armed robbery has been opened after a Bryanston resident was robbed while entering her residential complex.

Footage of the incident surfaced on social media on 5 August.

“It is alleged by the victim that she was robbed while entering the premises where she stayed by two unknown males who jump out of a motor vehicle,” said Sandton Police Station spokesperson Captain Granville Meyer.

Meyer added that suspects proceeded to threaten the suspect with firearms and robbed her, taking her bag.

The case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made as yet.
