Criminal jailed for business break-in

The perpetrator broke into a restaurant on Rivonia Boulevard on 13 July.

A 33-year-old man was sentenced to three years direct imprisonment for business break-in on 29 July.

Nkululeko Masoka was sentenced in the Alexandra Regional Court.  According to Captain Granville Meyer of the Sandton Police station, the perpetrator broke into a restaurant on Rivonia Boulevard on 13 July.

“Goods to the value of R60 000 were stolen. He was found inside the premises after security reaction teams responded to the incident after the alarm of the restaurant was activated,” he said.
