Sandton Action Sports commences dodgeball
Dodgy Styles are determined to end the new season on the top again after defeating Earnest and Young Dodgeball at the Sandton Action Sports Arena on July 26.
With only a two-week break from ducking, dodging and throwing balls, dodgeball players situated around the Sandton area eagerly made their return to the arena with high hopes of making the new season theirs.

Old and new players accepted the challenge of taking home the first place trophy at the Sandton Action Sports Arena on July 26. The first match of the night was between Earnest & Young Dodgeball (EY) with the champions of last season, Dodgy Style on court one.

Once the official blew the first whistle to commence the match, Dodgy Style immediately dominated as most of their players demolished EY from the start. Newly recruited player of the Dodge Style, Raymond Els, showed loads of skillful moves during the course of the match which he made it look easy.

The EY team were defeated by Dodge Style 1–5.
“We relatively played fine and had fun on the court. A loss doesn’t matter, the most important thing about this league is to get to know everyone, obviously have some fun and sweat it all out,” said Brendon Ting Chong of Earnest & Young Dodgeball after the defeat.
