Morningside’s Jenna Clifford hosts charity event in aid of Dignity Dreams
With the aim of highlighting the importance of menstrual health among young girls, Jenna Clifford recently hosted its Filling Cups Charity event in aid of non-profit Dignity Dreams.
In an effort to uplift more girls and highlight the importance of menstrual health, Morningside’s very own Jenna Clifford and Tandi Potgieter recently hosted its Filling Cups Charity event in aid of Dignity Dreams.
The non-profit organisation has spent the last 9 years providing comfort and menstrual health education to young women and girls across the country.

The organisation manufactures and distributes washable sanitary pads which can last up to three years, keeping more girls in school.
During the event, not only were guests treated to talks by parenting and lifestyle blogger Adele Koolen and Dr Tshegofatso Mathe, but Mathe also announced the launch of the official Mrs Soweto Empowerment Programme, in partnership with Jenna Clifford.

Not only will the winner walk away with an original Jenna Clifford design, but Signa Trust will be sponsoring a three-year university bursary, including accommodation, a stipend and a computer. Group 1 Renault The Glen will be giving the winner a Renault Kiger for the year of her reign.
According to Mathe, the aim of the programme is to make a difference in the community.

“We are so overwhelmed by the incredible support for the Mrs Soweto Empowerment Programme and the shared vision of making an impact on the lives of the entrants and the community.”
