Sandton Ladies Circle 24 rounds off the year on a high
Sandton Ladies Circle 24 reflects on its third year of giving back to those in need with the support of the community.
The Sandton Ladies Circle 24 shares a special message of thanks to the community and its friends and family for their continued support for yet another year.
The local service group celebrated three years of helping the community this year.
According to chairwoman Amanda Yelland, without the continued support from the community, the group would not have been able to deliver on its purpose – to serve the community.
“This past year is dotted with highlights and fond memories of our projects and fundraisers, from packing Jars of Hope and making potjies to feed those in need and hosting our Cake and Bubbly fundraiser to being awarded the Circle of the Year Award and welcoming new members.”
The group’s Nicola Ferreira echoed that it was a busy year all around.

“As life slowly starts returning to normal, we are filled with a strong sense of gratitude that 2022 turned out to be a year of being able to socialise and have in-person meetings again. We also got to do our first in-person fundraiser.”
Yelland added as the group reflected on the year that was and looks forward to the holidays, it was important not to forget about those in need who may be without family, shelter or food.

“One small act of kindness can make a big impact. Volunteer, offer your expertise and time or donate your second-hand goods. Please extend care, kindness and compassion to people in our community who need our help and support and consider contributing and making a difference in 2023.”
