EFF paint Sandton red in protest

Signs on the placards read, "Ramaphosa is not loyal to his oath of office".

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have stormed Sandton, filling the streets with red shirts.

The #NationalShutdown has seen protests country-wide.

Speeches were held outside the Sandton Convention Centre on March 20 at 14:22. Members are seen chanting struggle songs and waving around placards. Hundreds made their way to the centre of Sandton From Alexandra.

All law enforcement is present. Sandton Community Policing Forum has advised residents to avoid the area.
